Levamisole Hydrochloride 1000mg Bolus

Levaphen is used for the prevention and treatment of pup infestations ruminants and cattle caused by the following worms:
• Gastrointestinal nematodes: Trichostrongylus spp, Cooperia spp, Ostertagia ostertagi (except inhibited larvae), Haemonchus spp, Nematodirus spp, Bunostomum spp, Oesophagostomum spp;
• Pulmonary strongyles: Dictyocaulus viviparus.

COMPOSITION:
For 1 bolus:
Levamisole (as levamisole's hydrochloride)..1000 mg
Excipient q.s.p....................................................3 g

DIRECTIONS:
Levaphen is used for the prevention and treatment of pup infestations ruminants and cattle caused by the following worms:
• Gastrointestinal nematodes: Trichostrongylus spp, Cooperia spp, Ostertagia ostertagi (except inhibited larvae), Haemonchus spp, Nematodirus spp, Bunostomum spp, Oesophagostomum spp;
• Pulmonary strongyles: Dictyocaulus viviparus.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
For oral administration.
Bovine weighing up to 100 kg.................3/4 bolus;
100-200 kg.....................................1 - 1 1/2 bowls;
200-300 kg...............................1 1/2 - 2 1/2 bowls;
300 kg and more...............................  2 1/2 bowls.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer Levaphen to animals with severe renal and/or hepatic impairment.
Do not use in highly stressed or unhealthy animals.
Animals should not be treated within 14 days before or after treatment with organophosphorus compounds.

SIDE EFFECTS:
Symptoms may include hypersalivation, hyperesthesia and irritability, clonic seizures, central nervous system depression, dyspnea, defecation, urination and collapse.  Animals usually recover within hours of administration of the drug.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat: 7 days.
Milk: 3 milkings.

STORAGE:
Store below 30℃, protect from light.
